Historical palace in Positano | Boutique hotel Positano | Hotel Palazzo Murat

Impressive history that dates back over 100 years

It was 1808 when the King of Naples, Gioacchino Murat, fell in love with Positano decided to build this charming palace that has now been converted into a hotel. Giacchino Murat, who was married to Napoleon’s sister, Carolina Bonaparte, loved this place so much he decided to make it his summer residence where he could meet with all his friends, family and secret lovers.

Nowadays, as you go through the Palace door you will immediately sense that the same unique and refined atmosphere that won Gioacchino Murat’s heart remains intact in the beautiful antique furniture and big botanical garden that have been renovated perfectly conserving their original details.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many all over the World. Room was large, comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Gardens are amazing. Breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful experience. The best located Hotel in Positano. Absolute perfection! (lindawaring - TripAdvisor)
