History
It was 1808 when the King of Naples, Gioacchino Murat, fell in love with Positano and this charming palace that has now been converted into a hotel. Giacchino Murat, who was married to Napoleon’s sister, Carolina Bonaparte, loved this place so much he decided to make it his summer residence where he could meet all his lovers.
Nowadays, as you go through the Palace door you will immediately sense that the same unique and refined atmosphere that won Gioacchino Murat’s heart remains intact in the beautiful antique furniture and big botanical garden that have been renovated perfectly conserving their original details.
